Our MINTED Holiday Card

Monday, December 26, 2016

This is our second holiday in our home, and unlike last year, this year we had snow. Loads of it. We couldn't be more pleased, though we cannot say the same for the goats. They enjoyed it for approximately 30 seconds, before they realized they skid quite a bit in the few inches that are sticking to the ground.

I wanted to do a quick post today before I get back to writing up our recent KDM update to give a shout-out to Minted, a Seattle-based one-stop shop for cards, art, and stationery. Truly they do so much more, but what I love about the company besides the fact that they are local is that they credit their designers in phenomenal ways. They focus less on the branding, and more on the promoting. Plus, as a consumer you can vote for the designs you want to be able to purchase in future and read the bios of your favorite designers.

Here's a glimpse at the holiday card we sent to friends and family this year. The pictures are little blown out from using my snipping tool, but I can tell you that in person the card itself is amazing quality and the colors are crisp and clean. We are so happy with how it turned out and the phenomenal discounts we were able to receive due to the holidays. Scroll down to the bottom of this post for a coupon code of your own.

My husband and I rarely take photographs of ourselves, so we wanted to give our families a little "face time," as well as chronicle our year with the animals on the farm. We are so happy with the result that we will be using Minted again, and we have even considered doing a play on Valentine's Day cards in the future. Living so far away from our respective families, it can be hard to keep in touch in ways that are not digital, and these mementos are a great way to strengthen the familial bonds from afar.

If you are more of a New Year card person, there is a great promotion going on over at Minted right now. Just click this photo or use the promo code in your shopping cart.
